Dayara Bugyal Trek Tour

The journey begins early in the morning as we drive from Haridwar to Raithal, a scenic village serving as the gateway to Dayara Bugyal. En route, we pass through Rishikesh, Chamba, and Uttarkashi, with a stop at the mystical Prakateshwar Cave, known for its naturally formed Shiva Lingam. As we drive along the Bhagirathi River, the breathtaking Himalayan views make the long journey delightful.

Upon reaching Raithal, we check into a cozy homestay or campsite, where the fresh mountain air immediately refreshes us. In the evening, a short acclimatization walk helps us prepare for the trek ahead, followed by a warm dinner and an overnight stay in Raithal.

After a wholesome breakfast, the real adventure begins as we start our trek towards Gui Campsite. The trail winds through dense oak and rhododendron forests, with glimpses of snow-capped peaks appearing through the trees. The sound of birds chirping and the rustling of leaves creates a soothing melody as we ascend.

After a short but rewarding trek, we reach Gui Campsite, a stunning clearing with mesmerizing views of the surrounding mountains. The afternoon is spent exploring the area, relaxing, and soaking in the beauty of nature. As the sun sets, the sky turns shades of orange and pink, setting the perfect backdrop for an evening around the campfire (weather permitting).

The night is spent in tents under a starlit sky, a surreal experience that connects us deeply with nature.

Today is the most awaited day—the trek to Dayara Bugyal! As the first rays of sunlight hit the peaks, we start our journey through open meadows and gentle slopes, leading to one of the most beautiful alpine pastures in India.

As we reach Dayara Bugyal (11,800 ft), a breathtaking panorama unfolds before us—vast rolling meadows, towering Himalayan peaks, and the endless blue sky. In summer, the grasslands are lush green, while winter transforms them into a magical, snow-laden paradise.

We spend time here capturing the stunning landscapes, enjoying the crisp mountain air, and simply living in the moment. After soaking in the beauty of Dayara Bugyal, we descend back to Gui Campsite, where a warm meal and a peaceful night in tents await us.

After a hearty breakfast, we trek back to Raithal, retracing our steps through the beautiful forest trails. The descent is relaxing and filled with stunning views of the valleys below.

From Raithal, we drive to Uttarkashi, one of the most spiritual towns in the Garhwal region. After checking into our hotel, we visit the ancient Vishwanath Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, and explore the local market to experience the cultural essence of the Himalayas.

The evening is free for leisure, followed by a comfortable overnight stay in Uttarkashi.

As the adventure comes to an end, we bid farewell to the mountains and start our return journey to Haridwar. The drive offers one last chance to soak in the scenic beauty of the Himalayas, with short breaks at picturesque locations.

By evening, we arrive in Haridwar, bringing this unforgettable journey to a close, but carrying memories of breathtaking landscapes, starry nights, and soul-soothing tranquility that will stay with us forever.
